Age Divisions

All contestants must compete based on their age as of January 1st, 2020!

 

Baby Miss 0-23 months
Tiny Miss 2-3
Future Little Miss 4-5
Little Miss 6-7
Petite Miss 8-10
Junior Miss 11-13
Teen Miss 14-16
Miss 17-21
Ms. 22-30 (Unmarried)
Mrs. 22-30 ( Married)
Elite Ms 31 and up

Areas of Competition

Self Introduction

Little Miss –Ms Divisions will do a self introduction. Self introduction MUST be under 1 minute. Baby Miss/ Tiny Miss/ Future Little Miss will not verbally give a self introduction but they will compete in this area of competition. Their introduction will be read by the emcee and must be written on the card given in your packet at check in. Attire for this competition for ALL divisions: your Miss Heart of the USA National T-shirt (you will be given this t-shirt at check in), white pants/capris/skirt of your choice. All Baby Miss/Tiny Miss/Future Little Miss contestants must be escorted on stage by an adult. The adult escorting the contestant must also wear a Miss Heart of the USA National T-shirt.

Heart Wear

Show us your own unique sense of style. Model like you are in a fashion show! Item can be custom made or off the rack but must have hearts, red or pink incorporated into the outfit somehow. Remember … this is HEART WEAR!

Formalwear

Contestants will be judged on personality, fit and style of garment (overall appearance), poise & smile (stage presence) and beauty.

Baby Miss/Tiny Miss/Future Little Miss divisions will need a short pageant dress. Little Miss contestants may wear a long pageant dress. Not an heirloom or tea length pageant dress.

Petite Miss –Ms divisions will need a long pageant gown.

Patriot Wear

Show us your own unique sense of style. Model like you are in a fashion show! Item can be custom made or off the rack but must be patriotic in theme.

Interview

Interview is open to Little Miss –Ms divisions only. Attire for interview is the same as Self Introduction. Your Miss Heart of the USA TShirt and white pants/capris/skirt.

Essay

Little Miss –Ms Divisons can turn in a 1 page essay entitled “Why Community Service is Important to Me”.
