Answers to FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Attire: Attire for this pageant is CHRISTMAS! This can be custom made or off the rack!
Hair and Makeup: Professional hair and makeup are not required. We are not a Glitz Pageant! However, makeup is permissible. We highly discourage the use of anything FAKE--such as flippers and wiglets! Please come completely dressed and ready to go on stage. There will be a bathroom available for minor touch ups but please arrive completely ready in your pageant attire with hair and makeup finished!
Competition Details: Contestants will do a walk of choice to upbeat music. We provide the music so you do not need to bring a CD. Model like you are in a fashion show! :)
Contestants in the Baby Miss and Tiny Miss Division must have an adult on stage with them at all times! Coaches standing behind the judges doing routines as their contestant is onstage is NOT acceptable.
Check In: Please DO NOT arrive early for check in. We have the check in time set so you have plenty of time to check in your food collected and pick up your contestant number and stage card.

Please Plan to arrive between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Contestants should arrive dressed and ready to go!
Judging: Contestants will be judged on Overall Appearance, Stage Presence and Personality.
TOTAL SCORE = Overall Appearance + Stage Presence + Personality
DIVISIONAL PRIZES:
Winners in each division will receive a beautiful Rhinestone Crown, Miss Heart of the Christmas Sash, Rhinestone Sash Pin and Prize Package.
First and Second Runners-Up in each Division receive a crown and Runner-Up Prize Package.
DIVISIONAL WINNERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO WIN ADDITIONAL TITLES AND OPTIONAL TITLES!

Eligibility to compete for these three additional titles is included in your registration fee
Queen of Hearts: All of our pageants are "Pageants with a Purpose". We strive to teach our girls the importance of giving back to the community. Contestants are required to bring in a minimum of 3 New, Un-Wrapped Toys, Retail Value of at least $5 each.
The contestant who brings in the most TOYS will be awarded our most prestige title : "Queen of Hearts".
If you are bringing in more than the required 3 Toys; you must have the Toys counted prior to turning them in. All Toys must be in bags/boxes and labeled with the contestants name and division. The contestant who turns in the most Toys that are bagged/boxed with the proper labeling, will be crowned "Queen of Hearts".
Our "Queen of Hearts" will received her Miss Heart of the Christmas Queen of Hearts Sash, her beautiful Queen of Hearts Rhinestone Crown, Rhinestone Sash Pin, a Prize Package and her entry fee paid to the 2012 North Florida Miss Heart of the USA Pageant!?and a VIP Pajama Party Pass!
Toys will be distributed by the Sand Hills Santa Program to children in need this Christmas.
Ambassador: Our "Ambassador" title goes to the contestant who collects the most "Ambassador Points". By sharing information about the Miss Heart of Christmas Pageant, our Ambassador help to promote collection of additional Toys. (If you would like to compete for this title....once you have registered....immediately request a "Care Package" from the State Office!) State Office Email: northflorida@missheartoftheusa.com
Ambassador Points are earned for the following:
1 Point --for each Poster Placed in a local business at least 10 days prior to pageant
2 Points --for each local Business Sponsor Spot Sold $25 (Business Card Size)
3 Points --for each "Good Luck" Ad Sold $25 (be sure to ask Grandmothers, Aunts, Neighbors and Friends!)
2 Points --for each contestant you refer to the pageant, who competes
Our Ambassador will receive her Miss Heart of Christmas Ambassador Sash, beautiful Ambassador Rhinestone Crown, rhinestone sash pin and her entry fee paid ($295 Value) to our 2012 North Florida State Miss Heart of the USA State Pageant and a VIP Pajama Party Pass!
Scholarship Queen: To compete for this title you must request "Scholarship Tickets" from the State Office (northflorida@missheartoftheusa.com). Each "Scholarship Tickets sells for $5, contestants must sell at least 30 (Thirty) tickets to be qualified for this title. The contestant who sell the most tickets (thirty or more) will be crowned our "Scholarship Queen"! She will receive her beautiful sash, Beautiful "Round Crown" (pictured below), rhinestone sash pin and her entry fee paid to our 2012 North Florida State Miss Heart of the USA Pageant!--and--A "VIP Pajama Party Pass!"
The money from sell of these tickets goes to support our State Scholarship Fund and the tickets go into a drawing to be held at our "Stars, Bees and Bars" Awards Night at our 2012 State Pageant and Celebration (Grand Prize $500 Cash).

Viewers Choice: This title is voted on by the audience. Each vote is $1.00 and the contestant with the most votes wins! She will receive a rhinestone crown, sash and entry fee paid to the 2012 North Florida's Miss Heart of the USA Pageant ($295 Value). In addition. she will receive a special "VIP" button which will be her ticket to the "VIP Pajama and Pizza Party at the 2012 North Florida State Miss Heart of the USA Celebration. Money collected for the Viewer's Choice Title is to be turned in at the front desk. Please place it in an envelope with the contestants name, number and division clearly printed on the front. Remember this is a great way for grandmothers, aunts, uncles, etc. who cannot attend the pageant to still participate--
MISS PHOTOGENIC COMPETITION
Divisional Photogenic winners will receive a prize!
A Miss Photogenic will be chosen from the eight divisional winners. She will receive her sash, her crown, her Miss Heart of Christmas sash pin and a prize package.
Photogenic - Photos can be of any size and do not have to be professionally done. This can be a head-shot or full body shot. Photos are scored on personality projection, clarity and overall photogenic qualities. Photos need to be turned into the Registration Desk as soon as you arrive. Photos must be labeled with the Contestant's Name and Division. No photos will be accepted that do not meet these requirements. DO NOT MAIL ANY PHOTOS TO THE DIRECTORS! There will be an additional charge of $10 per photo. All photos must be picked up immediately following the competition at the Registration Desk.
Each person entering the Auditorium (except for the contestant) is required to purchase an arm-band. These arm-band are $10. Children under 12 are half price.
